Surround recording of the main square in the croatian town of trogir. Ther recorder is situated before the front porch of the cathedral, facing the city hall. It is 5 pm on a quiet summer day, some tourists and activity in the several cafés can be heard. The tower clock of the city hall strikes 5 in the middle of the recording. Recorded with a zoom h2. This file contains the rear channels, recorded with a dispersion of 120°.

Field recording of times square in new york city recorded at 6 am on a saturday morning. The recorder is situated in the center of times square, some cars (mostly taxis) are underway, some (very few) people as well, cleaners and a team of subway construction workers are on the scene. Recording was conducted in march 2012 with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

1:56 field recording of exterior daytime environmental windy day in an exposed lincolnshire countryside location, but with mics completely shielded inside a bus-shelter for a less in your face perspective. Mics are pointed upwards into the wooden box roof of the shelter, which has added a somewhat eerie and disconcerting lower mid rumble to the scene. Recorded with a balanced stereo pair of mics and edited to remove intrusions.
